Laws for decentralized democracy
One of my favorite videos/presentations regarding democracy and decentralization is by entrepreneur Johann Gevers based in Switzerland and one of the founders of the Crypto Valley blockchain ecosystem.
His presentation “The four pillars of a decentralized society” is about:
- Human psychology and history
- Centralisation vs decentralisation
- Cryptocurrencies, communication, and technology of trust
- Law, community, and life
- Cooperation, trade, entrepreneurship, and production
One of my main conclusions about Gever’s presentation is that decentralized technology makes it easier for modern humans t a type of community life, reminding us of our earliest history while still being globally connected.
